Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Danielle Tucker
Hi, my name is Danielle Tucker and I am thrilled to be a part of the third grade team at Montclaire. I joined CUSD in 2013 and have been teaching third grade ever since. Prior to teaching in Cupertino, I was an early childhood education teacher and administrator for an infant through kindergarten program in San Diego for 5 years. I grew up in Cupertino and I am so proud and excited to be teaching in the district I grew up in. I received undergraduate degrees in Human Development and Literature from UC Davis; attended Santa Clara University for my teaching credential; and have Masters Degrees in Elementary Education and Leadership from National University. Teaching isn't just a career for me, but a passion. I believe that teaching is about forming and building positive relationships with students and parents, and educating the whole child. Every day I strive to help students realize that there is a world outside of our classroom door, and I hope to equip them with the tools they need to be happy and successful members of our community.
On a personal note, I am married and have two young children. I also enjoy cooking (and eating!), visiting San Diego, the color red, and all things nautical themed. I look forward to seeing you around school!
