Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Diana Wu

Hi there!  My name is Diana Wu (Fuller) and after a leave of absence, I am returning to Blue Hills to teach second grade with Vanessa Szeto.  I was born on the East Coast, but I grew up in the Bay Area and even went to Blue Hills as a child.  Our school definitely has a sentimental place in my heart; there really isn’t any other place I’d want to teach.  :)  After going through the CUSD and FUHSD school systems, I attended UCLA for college, and then I went to Santa Clara University for my teaching credential.  I'm coming back to teach my twelfth year here at Blue Hills.  Most of that teaching was in kindergarten, so I am excited to change things up and dive into second grade!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy a plethora of hobbies.  I like to do crafts including making jewelry, hand lettering, home decorating DIYs, arranging flowers, and my current in-the-kitchen obsessions are baking macaroons, cakes, and ice cream.  Basically, I love to learn how to do/make new things!  I try to do Bikram yoga and workout when I can, and I also enjoy trying new restaurants (I love food!), traveling, listening to people's stories, and sipping coffee or having lunch with friends al fresco on sunny days.

I am very excited to get to partner with you in your child’s success in school this year.  I hope your child's time at Blue Hills is as enjoyable, meaningful, and fulfilling as it was for me- including his or her memories made in our class!

Thanks for getting to know me!
