2019-2020 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

  • The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Under the LCFF all school districts are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified pursuant to EC Section 52060(d).

State law mandates that the final LCAP document needs to be adopted prior to July 1, 2019. The Cupertino Union School District Board of Education held a public hearing for community comment at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on May 23, 2019, and will move to approve the 2019-2020 LCAP at the Board meeting on June 13, 2019.
