Compliance & Complaint Procedures
The Board of Education believes that the quality of the District's education program can improve when the District listens to complaints, considers differences of opinion, and resolves disagreements through an established, objective process.
The Board encourages complainants to resolve issues early and informally whenever possible. Complaints about a school or school personnel should start by contacting an Administrator at the school. If the issue remains unresolved, the individual should then submit a formal General Complaint as early as possible.
Individual Board Members do not have the authority to resolve complaints. If approached directly with a complaint, Board Members will listen to the complaint and refer the complainant to the Superintendent or designee so that the issue may receive proper consideration.
