Title IX (Sexual Discrimination/Harassment)
Title IX is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex (including sexual harassment) in our schools. It protects male and female students and employees in any educational entity that receives Federal funds. In addition, Title IX protects transgender students and employees who do not conform to sex stereotypes. State law also prohibits discrimination based on gender, gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
