Digital Literacy and Citizenship

Our desire is that students utilize technology as respectful and appropriate digital citizens in our school community and beyond. We want to empower our students to think critically, behave safely, and participate responsibly in our digital world. In addition we want them to develop the habits that lead to technology balance between their online and offline activities. 

In Cupertino, we utilize Digital Citizenship lessons provided by Common Sense Media. Lessons are provided around the following topics:

• Privacy and Safety
• Digital Footprint and Identity
• Relationships and Communication
• Cyberbullying and Online Harms
• Information and Media Literacy
