2026-2027 Student Registration
Priority Registration Window for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade
January 5, 2026, through February 11, 2026
The Priority Registration Window for students NEW to the Cupertino Union School District (CUSD) who want to attend the 2026-2027 school year (starting August 2026) is the important time to sign up for your child's home attendance area school. Registering during this window is how your child is officially enrolled, pending space availability, at the school assigned to your address within CUSD boundaries. The process is mainly done online through the Student Assignment Office, and it is required if your child is new to the District and enrolling in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
