Registration for the next school year
2025-2026 Registration is the process that registers NEW students (students that are not currently attend a CUSD school for the 2024-2025 school year) to attend CUSD for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Students will be registered to their attendance area school based on their address.

Kindergarten is available for children whose birthdays are between September 2, 2019 and September 1, 2020.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is available for children whose birthdays are between September 2, 2020 and September 1, 2021. TK is part of a two-year Kindergarten program.
All TK through 8th grade registrations will happen through the Student Assignment Office. Most registrations will be done remotely, however there will be some in-person appointments available for those who need it.
Students currently attending CUSD for the 2024-2025 school year DO NOT need to complete 2025-2026 Priority Registration. Students will be placed in their attendance area schools during this window.
STEP 1: Gather all required documents

STEP 2: Submit a registration request - CLICK HERE for the form
- Families must be residing full-time in their CUSD address to complete registration. CUSD does not conduct any pre-registrations.
STEP 3: Document Verification / Registration Completion
- Student Assignment staff will send instructions on how to submit registration requirements and how to complete the online registration.
