Home Hospital

Students may at times require hospitalization for health reasons. Should hospitalization occur and be required for a period of time, please notify your child’s school. The school district where the hospital is located will provide instruction while your child is in the hospital.

At other times, students may have health related reasons that require they do not attend school for a period of time. With a doctor’s order describing the condition, the length of time the student needs to be on bed rest and any other significant information of your child’s non-contagious medical disorder, a Home Instructor may be assigned to provide up to one hour of daily instruction in the home. Contact your school principal if your child’s health condition requires that they not be in attendance at school.
