Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Etay Chatow and I am honored to be part of the Sedgwick staff this year. I was born in Israel and came to the U.S. as a teen. I have received my B.A, in Psychology from the University of California, Davis in 2010. My passion to motivate future generations of students and empower them to be responsible and caring citizens have shaped my choice of becoming a teacher. I have earned my M.A. in Education and my teaching credential from San Jose State University in 2017. I have already taught third grade and kindergarten, and I am happy to teach fourth grade this year!!! As a teacher, I am committed to help students foster endurance, community skills and character. I believe that by doing so, students will feel competent and successful in school and in life beyond that.
When I am not teaching, I very much enjoy reading, watching movies, hiking, eating out and spending time with my beloved wife, Aislyn and our recently born son Ivri.
