Hi, my name is Sally Carse and i've been teaching 1st grade at Nimitz Elementary for the past 3 years.  To share a little bit about myself, I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, singing, reading and traveling.  I graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Linguistics.  I continued on there to get my teaching credential.  In addition, I have a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from National University.  Before Nimitz, I taught various grade levels at San Jose Unified School District, and my last position was as an intervention specialist.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching 1st grade and being part of the Nimitz community.
