During the 2018-2019 school year, the Cupertino Union School District will work closely with stakeholder groups (parents, community members, staff, and students) to develop a long-range strategic plan that clarifies our vision for students and goals and priorities for CUSD. We will engage stakeholders in developing a plan that articulates the community’s aspirations for all students. The District and school leaders will work together to gather thoughts and input.
The District engagement process will begin in the fall of 2018. In a variety of settings, stakeholders will explore questions related to the knowledge, skills, and “habits of mind” students need to become lifelong learners and contributors. Please look for opportunities at your school site, in the community and (if you are a staff member) in your department to engage in this process. Your input is valued and essential as we formulate our collective goals and aspirations for all students.
Following each engagement series, a Strategic Planning Steering Committee will synthesize all information collected and support the District team with recommendations for the next engagement opportunity.
