If your son/daughter has been assigned to an overflow school due to lack of space at his/her attendance area school, he/she may continue at the overflow school until the movement dates throughout the year (early November, early January and/or early March of the 2016/2017 school year).
If space is available at your attendance area school prior to the movement date, you will receive a phone call to attend your attendance area school. At the time of the phone call, you may choose to continue at the overflow school by submitting a Request for Transfer form with your current school of attendance which can be approved, provided there is not a wait list for the overflow school and grade.
If your current primary residence is within the CUSD boundary and your child is ready to begin school at the time of registration, you may visit the Cupertino Union School District Office at 1309 S. Mary Avenue, Sunnyvale to begin the registration process for students entering Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade or visit your attendance area school middle school to register your current 6th - 8th grade student:
- Review the required registration documents
- Download and review the immunization requirements (TB Risk Assessment Form - required for all new students to Santa Clara County)
PLEASE NOTE: Students must be residing in the District and be available for any necessary testing at the time of registration. The District does not accept pre-registration.
Paper registration packets are available at your attendance area school or in the Student Assignment Office.
