Nimitz School Site Council

The School Site Council (SSC) is an elected body made up of parents, teachers and the principal. Each year a school plan and budget is established by SSC which sets priorities for spending school and district funds.
How are Nimitz goals funded? Nimitz goals are funded through several primary channels:
- Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
- Nimitz Parent Teacher Association
Nimitz PTA raises funds at Nimitz via family contributions, an annual Walkathon and various other programs. The Nimitz PTA
- General Educational Funds
Discretionary state funds.
- Title One Funds
- Cupertino Educational Endowment Fund (CEEF)
District-wide foundation that gives money to all CUSD schools. 1% of total funds come from CEEF.

SSC MEETING DATES: 09/03/20, 10/01/20, 11/05/20, 12/03/20, 01/07/21, 02/04/21, 03/04/21, 04/01/21, 05/06/21, 06/03/21
TIME: 2:45 - 3:45 PM IN Room 907 (During Distance Learning, all SSC Meetings will be held via Google Meet. The link will be sent to Nimitz Community a few days in advance.)
How can I become an SSC member?
If you are interested in being a Parent Representative on the SSC, please plan on attending our first SSC meeting on Thursday, September 3rd at 2:45 via Google Meet.
