Homestead High School's STEM Night, themed "Yesterday's Tomorrow," is a place for people of all ages to have fun with a variety of STEM topics, ranging from anatomy to engineering. Attendees can visit a variety of booths organized by high school clubs and local labs with interesting scientific activities or demonstrations. The event is free and will also include a taco truck and raffle. See you on Friday, November 16th from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Homestead High School Field House!
The Scholastic Book Fair was a resounding success! It was so much fun to see students and families coming to the GLC for great literature and cool stuff. Click the heading to checkout our Library News flyer with fun facts and book fair accomplishments. The financial support from our community for the Montclaire Library allows me to continue to build and develop our materials for all our students and their educational support. Additionally, the fair would not have gone as smoothly without the support of our wonderful parent volunteers. A huge THANK YOU to everyone.
Do you have questions about Montclaire and why so many of our neighbors love the school and school community so much? Want to know more about what we offer our learner? Please join us on Wednesday, November 28 at 7pm for an Information Night for new prospective families for the 2019/2020 school year.
Online Registration is now Open. You must complete the online form and then schedule a Registration Verification appointment to visit the school with your supporting documents.
Parents/Guardians interested in a neighborhood school other than their child’s assigned school will have an opportunity to apply to neighborhood schools with available space for the 2019-2020 school year in February 2019. Details about the process to apply to another school will be shared with the community in January 2019.
Children these days are under more stress and face many more complex situations than most of us faced at their age. Parenting children in these troubling times can be difficult. Montclaire has invited The Taarika Foundation to deliver a series of parent education sessions focusing on awareness of mental health in children and adolescents.
