Welcome back, Dolphins!

Please join us on Wednesday evening, August 21st for our annual Back-to-School Night. The purpose of Back-to-School Night is to begin the important communication link between home and school. Parents will meet with teachers in their classrooms to discuss their educational programs, learn about the school day, and find out how to help their child be successful in school.

The Back to School Night schedule is:

  • 5:30 to 6:00 - TK, K (K in GLC) 4th and 5th grades
  • 6:00 to 6:30 - Introductions and PTA Presentation
  • 6:30 to 7:00 - 1st thru 3rd grades
  • 6:30 - 5th Grade Science Camp Meeting (in GLC)

There will also be a Live Scan Fingerprinting event from 4:30pm–6:30pm for parents that wish to volunteer at school. The cost is $32, and is paid by the applicant. Volunteers must have both Live Scan fingerprinting AND a TB test clearance in order to volunteer at CUSD schools. Please see the Volunteer Page for more information about CUSD volunteer requirements.

This is a very important evening designed for PARENTS ONLY. Children are not allowed to wait for parents on the playground or in the corridors as there will be no supervision, and the noise is a distraction to those listening to the presentations. Please make arrangements now for babysitters to watch your children at home. Thank you for your cooperation.
