Board Advance November 30, 2021, 12:00 PM

In light of the current Public Health Emergency, and per current guidelines from the State, the Board will hold its November 30th Fall Board Advance in a hybrid model, with the Board in attendance and the audience virtual. The meeting will be live-streamed as we have done in the past. The meeting will begin at 12:00 PM.

A link to the agenda is provided here.

The virtual meeting will be recorded. The video will be posted on the CUSD website within 48 hours of the meeting’s conclusion.

The link to the virtual meeting and the public comment form is available now on the District website under Headlines (found under the rotating pictures). Both are also linked below for quick access:

At the beginning of the meeting, the Board President will explain how members of the public may provide comments via the Zoom interface. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per person unless too many people request to make a public comment, in which case the Board President may limit comments to less than three (3) minutes per person.

You must be present to read your comments. If you want to address the Board, your comment card must be submitted before the first speaker begins speaking on the related agenda item you are speaking about. To help staff locate the correct speaker, we kindly remind you that the name submitted on the comment card should match that on Zoom.

If you cannot be present when called to speak, the Board will receive your comments post-meeting. You may also email the Board of Education at

Please be aware that the provisions of the Brown Act prohibit the Board from acting on or discussing matters that are not on the agenda at this meeting; therefore, Board Members will not respond directly to the speakers or otherwise address speakers’ comments.  Requests from the public for the Board to take up a particular matter at a future Board Meeting will be referred to staff and the Board President for consideration.
