Good Afternoon CUSD Families,

Today, California Governor Gavin Newsom and California State Superintendent Tony Thurmond have stated that school buildings in California will remain closed for the remainder of the school year due to needed action to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please see the attached letter from the County Superintendent of Schools, Mary Ann Dewan, and all thirty-one School District Superintendents in Santa Clara County.

Thank you for your immense support and flexibility. Though our school buildings are not open for classes, the school year is not over. We will continue to support staff in strengthening the delivery of education through distance learning.

We are committed to continuing to provide our CUSD families with regular updates in the ensuing weeks.

Wishing you all the best and please stay safe and healthy.

The letter is available in English or click a language for translated version: Chinese (traditional), Chinese (simplified), Spanish, and Vietnamese.
