Principal's Message

  • Welcome Back To School

I want to extend a warm welcome to each of you as we begin a new school year.
Teachers and support staff are excited about providing an enriching environment where
your child(ren) is cared for and will receive a well balanced, standards-based curriculum.
Your child(ren) will have the opportunity to experience learning through collaboration,
communication, creativity, and critical thinking on a daily basis. We also provide
opportunities for your child(ren) to grow emotionally and socially as these areas are
important for your child(ren) to become a well adjusted, productive citizen in their life.
As the old adage says, “It takes a village to raise a child”. Each one of us has an
important part to play as a school community to ensure that we provide the very best
for our children. Below is an excerpt from “Within My Power” by Forest Witcraft that
always reminds me of what is really important when all is said and done.

    One Hundred Years from Now

    One Hundred Years from now
    It will not matter
what kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
how much money was in my bank account
nor what my clothes looked like.
But the world may be a better place because
I was important in the life of a child.

May we have a great year caring and working together for our kids.
    Go Wildcats!

    Robin Robinson
    West Valley Principal
